If you already have a plush product, an approved sample or an established character, changing production partner should not mean starting again from zero.
You need a plush production partner who can understand the existing product, identify what needs to be controlled and move it into reliable, repeatable production.
That was the situation with HABMUT®.
When an Existing Plush Product Needs a New Production Partner
HABMUT had already developed its character and the concept behind the product.
The large HABMUT is a 28 cm plush star with a functional storage pocket at the back. Children can place their MUTmomente inside, while the plush itself also works as a soft companion and cushion.
HABMUT ToGo translates the same character into a compact plush keychain.
When the project came to Kids&Stuff, the objective was not to redesign HABMUT. It was to make sure the existing concept, function and finishing could be reproduced consistently in production.
More Than Reproducing the Shape
The construction combines several details that need to work together in production:
- Functional rear storage pocket
- Custom-sized YKK zipper
- Fully lined internal compartment
- Controlled filling around the pocket
- Woven cotton brand label
- Custom branded tags and product labelling
- Consistent character shape and expression
- Matching HABMUT ToGo plush keychain
Each detail affects the finished product. The zipper influences the pocket construction, the lining affects how the plush is filled, and even small differences in shape or facial positioning can change the character.
From Existing Product to Controlled Production
This is an important part of how Kids&Stuff works with professional brands.
You do not have to start again from zero because you change production partner.
We can work from an existing character, approved artwork, sample or developed product and manage the next stages: technical review, production-ready sampling, controlled production, compliance, quality control, packing, import and European delivery.
The objective is not simply to make one good sample. The approved product needs to become the reference for controlled, repeatable mass production.
The HABMUT project shows how an established product can move to a new plush production partner while retaining the character, function and brand details that make the product valuable.
