The Certa Green Dragon mascot costume brings Aodhán to life — a friendly, community-focused character designed for family events, public activations and long-term brand storytelling.
Meet Aodhán, the green dragon who can’t breathe fire — a friendly, slightly clumsy, yet brave character created by Certa Ireland to connect with families and local communities across Ireland.
This project required more than a standard mascot suit. Aodhán had to feel approachable, expressive and instantly recognisable, while remaining comfortable and safe for extended public appearances.
Alongside the mascot costume, we produced a 25 cm plush version of Aodhán, featuring:
Identical facial expression
Small wings matching the mascot design
Embroidered eyes for a soft, child-friendly appearance
Both the mascot costume and plush toy were tested according to EN 71 and GPSR standards, guaranteeing safety for family-oriented marketing and community engagement.
